Nautical E Consultancy (NAUTEC) developed from a close co-operation between two partners experienced in the maritime sector with emphasize not only on hands on expertise, academic developments and the full scale of maritime activities including aspects regarding navigation, long term maintenance plans, damage control of up to ULCC tonnage, or the upgrading training of sea-going management staff but covered also accident investigation, training of senior staff for special tonnage assignment or the personal secondment as IMO expert or Academic Teaching at an leading maritime academy, or the duties of a Chairperson within the International Shipping Federation. The ever closer involvement in the electronic sector within the maritime sector combined with a solid ‘hands-on’ expertise in a wide, but marine oriented field eventually lead to the founding of NAUTEC.
The background of the founders have over the years secured a recognised record and reputation in the planning, design and realisation of marine related IT-projects. The extensive business management in different countries and exposure to an international clientele are today one of NAUTEC’s main assets and enabling us , to adjust to new requirements without much time delay.
Supported by a strong and longstanding relationship with industry leaders serving mainly the maritime sector NAUTEC has a very complete portfolio of technological services at their disposal. The Leonardo da Vinci program is a seamless continuation of Community action that has been undertaken for twenty years in the vocational training field.
Following- on directly from the aims laid down for the first phase of the program, this second phase seeks to support and supplement action taken by the Member States, while fully respecting their responsibility for the content and organization of vocational training, and linguistic diversity. It does this by supporting transnational co-operation projects in the field of vocational training.
NAUTEC is one of the international partners in the Leonardo da Vinci EU project.
